"The Riverfront, Recaptured" is a mini-documentary of Hartford's Riverfront Recapture project, from its humble beginnings in the 1980s to its role as a central part of the city today.

 

The 16-minute video was produced for the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, premiering at their 2015 Celebration of Giving event on 11/12/15 at the Hartford Marriott Downtown.

 

The documentary features interviews with community leaders and stunning aerial drone footage of the Connecticut River. Lively scenes from the Caribbean & Jerk Festival and the Dragon Boat & Asian Festival, as well as the High School Rowing, Adaptive Rowing, and Veterans Rowing & Kayaking programs, highlight the transformation of Hartford's Riverfront.
